I have a workbook of a list of transferrable skills that I can check off from. Once I checked them off, how can I use it to find the suitable job if I am looking at a job posting? How can transferrable skills worksheet work along side with the job requirements of a position if I am making a comparison?
    Thanks.

    Hi, Jean!
I’m not sure I’m understanding your question exactly but I’ll take a stab at it. You can let me know if I need to refine my answer.

Once you know what you’re transferrable skills are, it is important to show evidence of them on your resume. You do this in the Selected Accomplishments section that we talked about in our second call. Since it is so easy with Word these days to tailor your resume to a specific job posting, I recommend that you do that. For any posting you are answering, make sure your resume includes accomplishments that address and demonstrate the various skills the poster is looking for. It is these accomplishments that you need to compare to the job requirements. If you can’t fit all of the skills into the Accomplishments section, then feel free to include the remainder in the Keywords section at the end of your resume.

Hope this helps. Feel free to respond and clarify your question if I didn’t address the issue adequately.
