No Teleseminar This Week (April 28)

For anyone who is checking in this week, I just wanted to let you know that we do not have a call scheduled tomorrow.  Rick and I both have other commitments so we opted to cancel rather than try to find replacements.  However, we plan to back next week at our regularly scheduled time.  Hope you’ll be able to join us then!

Playing Catch Up:-)

OK. I admit it – I’m WAAAY behind on this blog.  In my defense, I’ve been working with a designer to improve the look and functionality of this site.  You should be seeing the changes very soon.  With these changes, we will be adding two new features that should better support you in your job search.  The first new section will be "The Coach’s Corner", where I will be answering specific questions that readers/listeners have submitted.  Along with this, we will also be adding a "Featured Job Postings" area where we can regularly highlight active postings for various types of positions. 

We hope that these revisions will make this site more useful and help get the kind of dialogue going that can benefit everyone.

In the meantime, here are the replays from the previous two teleseminars.

The previous week (April 14), I was joined by Doug Thorpe, the founder and leader of Jobs Ministry Southwest.  This new and growing ministry meets every Tuesday morning in SugarLand.  Doug explained the STRIVE model for job search that is taught at JMS.  This very easy-to-follow approach has already been used successfully by numerous job seekers.
